KPA Board Elections and Nominations

The KPA is governed by a Board of Directors composed of state officers and district directors. Board meetings are held throughout the year in various locations in the state and are open to interested KPA members.  

The following positions on the Board of Directors are elected positions:

  • President (2 year term)
  • VP Membership (2 year term)
  • Secretary (2 year term)
  • Treasurer (2 year term)
  • Education Director (2 year term)
  • Marketing Director (2 year term)
  • Publications Director (2 year term)
  • District I Director (2 year term)
  • District II Director (2 year term)
  • District III Director (2 year term)

Elections are held annually in April.  Please check back for the Nomination Form to be posted here.  (Voting members are allowed to nominate themselves in addition to nominating others.  All of the above positions require a current voting membership in order to be eligible for the position.)

The following positions are appointed and are subject to approval by the Board of Directors:

  • NFPA Representative - Primary
  • NFPA Representative - Secondary
  • KBA Paralegal Committee
  • Pro Bono/Community Service Coordinator
  • PACE/PCCE Coordinator
